Where Do Sessions Take Place?

I see clients both face to face and online via zoom. I am based in a tranquil Village in North Cork (Doneraile) My office is close to the lovely Doneraile Park, if you felt like a walk before or after our session.

Sessions are 70 euro per session. You may be able to get some recuperate some sessions fees if you have health Insurance

Appointments usually take place Monday- Friday from 9.30am to 3pm. I do offer some evening appointments Monday and Friday evenings also.

Due to the nature of private practice, I’m unable to provide crisis support or respond to urgent requests. If you need emotional support as a matter of urgency, please contact the Samaritans on 116 123. You can also seek support from your local G.P. If you are concerned you may be at risk of hurting yourself and are worried you may not be able to keep yourself safe, please call 112 or attend A and E. Pieta house are also a 24-hour crisis service and can support with issues around self-harm and suicide. 1800-247 247 (24 hour crisis helpline) or text HELP to 51444.

Sessions usually take place weekly however the frequency of therapy sessions is tailored to your unique needs and goals

I am a fully qualified and accredited therapist and a registered member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) (Membership No. M13061).

I hold a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Cork Counselling Centre, where I trained in Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy, a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) in Youth & Community Work from University College Cork, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Adolescent Psychotherapy from The Greenane Centre, Co. Tipperary.

I am deeply committed to ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to ensure my practice remains ethical, evidence-informed, and responsive to clients’ needs. My CPD training includes but not limited to.

  • Trauma-Informed Internal Family Systems (IFS) – working with protective and survival parts to support understanding and healing of past trauma (Colleen West)
  • Polyvagal-Informed Therapy – supporting nervous system regulation and safety (Deb Dana)
  • Working with Trauma and Dissociation – informed by the work of Janina Fisher
  • Advanced Techniques in Acceptance Commitment Therapy.

This training allows me to work in a compassionate, integrative, and trauma-informed way, supporting clients to build safety, understanding, and meaningful change.
