I’ve always been fascinated by psychology and the workings of the human mind but for me, it’s more than an interest. It’s a deep, lifelong pull toward understanding why we behave the way we do, what shapes our self-worth, and how we can reconnect with the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden or silenced.
For over twenty years, I’ve been rooted in the mental health and wellbeing world. My career has taken me through health promotion, community development, and youth work, where I’ve supported families and adolescents through the messy, meaningful challenges of life. At the heart of it, my work has always been about helping people understand themselves, their relationships, and how to build a life that feels better from the inside out.
I’m especially passionate about helping people take off the mask the one we wear to meet expectations, to fit in, to cope and begin to live from a place that feels real and true.
As someone diagnosed with ADHD at 46, I know that mask well. For years I tried to live up to everyone else’s standards, pushing aside my own needs and pretending I was fine when I wasn’t. Slowly unlearning the “shoulds” and finding my way back to myself is at the heart of why I do this work.
In our work together, I hold space for your story, your struggles, and your strengths. I care deeply about helping you uncover what’s been buried by burnout, people-pleasing, or simply trying to get through the day.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a mum to two tween girls who keep me very busy. I love getting lost in a good book, enjoy running, and occasionally sign up for a race when the motivation strikes.
I’m also a bit of a brain-health nerd, especially when it comes to supporting ADHD from the inside out. Over time. I’ve come to see that caring for our brains through rest, movement, nutrition, and compassion isn’t optional, it’s essential. I don’t always get it right, but the more I’ve learned about ADHD and brain health the more I’ve come to understand myself and work with my brain rather than against it.
This work isn’t about perfection. It’s about curiosity, growth and becoming more fully yourself, one gentle step at a time.
